You can add more elements to a business/report cube at any time to suit your requirements.

Adding a category

To add a category, follow the steps below:

  1. In the Business/Report Cube Editor window, select the business/report cube (or any existing category) in the right panel, right-click and then click Add Category to display the Category Property dialog. See the dialog.
  2. In the General tab, set the name and display name for the category in the Name and Display Name text fields. The name and display name must be unique at current level.
  3. Type a description for the category in the Description text box if required, which will be shown when you hover the mouse pointer over the category in the Resource View panel of JReport Viewer.
  4. Click the Security tab and set permission to the category as required (for details, see Configuring security).
