Using the Desktop Viewer GUI in a new frame

JReport Desktop Viewer Bean (JRClientViewer) displays the whole JReport Desktop Viewer GUI in a new frame. If you want to use the JReport Desktop Viewer GUI and start JReport Desktop Viewer in a new frame, you can use this bean.

With this approach, your Java application calls the Desktop Viewer Bean and provides the following properties:

• setReportHome ("theReportHome")
• setServerName ("theServerName")
• setPort ("thePortNumber")
• setFullPath ("theFullPath")
• setUserName ("theUserName")
• setPassword ("thePassword")
• setLoadReport ("Yes/No")

ReportHome is the home path of JReport Desktop Viewer where the report.ini file and other JReport Desktop Viewer system files exist.
